Custom baseball caps built around your brand
Baseball caps are our core category and the most customised headwear product in the world. Rather than decorating a fixed blank, Gazelle develops each order around your brand: crown profile, panel construction, peak shape, closure, internal branding and packaging are specified before the first sample. The result is a cap that fits your retail, workwear, sports or promotional programme exactly, instead of a generic cap with a logo sewn on the front. We work from your tech pack, a reference sample, or even a sketch and a target price, and translate it into a factory-ready specification.
Construction: panels, crown profile and fit
Most baseball caps use a six-panel crown, with five-panel and seven-panel builds available for specific aesthetics. A structured front (buckram or fused front panels) holds a flat front for large embroidery and streetwear looks; an unstructured crown gives the soft, garment-washed dad-hat profile that dominates lifestyle and premium apparel. Low-, mid- and high-profile crowns change how the cap sits and how a logo reads at distance. During sampling we lock the profile, panel seams, top-button detail, eyelet finish and fit, then produce a graded size range (typically 54–60 cm) or a one-size snapback/strapback fit.
Fabrics and materials
Cotton twill (brushed and unbrushed) is the default, weighted from roughly 180 to 400 g/m² depending on the hand-feel you want. We also develop chino, ripstop, canvas, linen and cotton-linen blends, performance polyester for sport, recycled polyester and organic cotton for sustainability programmes, corduroy, denim, suede-look and washed pigment-dyed fabrics. Sweatbands, lining, stitching and internal taping are matched to the price point. Every fabric composition is confirmed in writing and, where you require claims such as organic or recycled content, supported by the relevant transaction certificates rather than marketing language.
Decoration and craftsmanship
Logo execution is where a cap feels cheap or premium. Options include flat and 3D puff embroidery, appliqué and chenille, woven and embroidered patches, leather and leather-look patches, PVC and TPU badges, metal emblems, screen and digital print, sublimation on white polyester, reflective print, gold/silver foil, laser cutting and debossing, tie-dye, garment washing and distressing. We control embroidery density and registration so dense logos do not pucker the front panel. Eyelets, top button, stitching colour, under-peak colour and closure (snap, Velcro, buckle, elastic or fitted) all become part of the approved spec.
MOQ, sampling and lead time
Custom baseball caps are developed for OEM/ODM volume rather than single units. A practical production order commonly starts at 100–300 pieces per colourway depending on decoration, with embroidery-friendly repeat orders scaling smoothly to tens of thousands. A physical pre-production sample is produced before bulk so you can approve fit, colour, embroidery placement and finishing; samples can move as fast as roughly three days for an existing construction. Bulk lead time depends on quantity, fabric and decoration complexity, and is confirmed against your delivery date at quotation so there are no surprises.
Who custom baseball caps are for
This category serves apparel and streetwear brands launching seasonal headwear, sports teams and leagues, merchandise and licensing programmes, corporate and uniform buyers who need consistent fit across staff, promotional distributors, golf and hospitality programmes, and online sellers who want a private-label product rather than a generic blank. With three wholly owned factories — Dongguan and Suzhou (Anhui) in China and Phnom Penh in Cambodia — we can align origin, duty and capacity planning with where your goods are sold.
