FACTORY GUIDE

Masks: a buyer's manufacturing guide

Custom fabric face masks

Gazelle manufactures reusable fabric face masks for uniform, promotional and retail programmes. They are developed as textile items with controlled layers, fit, ear loops and branding. They are positioned as general reusable fabric masks, not medical devices or PPE, and we make no unsubstantiated medical-protection claims.

Construction and fit

Masks use two- or three-layer textile constructions with shaped contours, adjustable or elastic ear loops, optional nose-wire channels and adult and child sizes. Fit, breathability and seam comfort are checked on a sample. Where filters or a specific layer composition are offered, they are described accurately against the construction rather than implying medical certification.

Materials

Fabrics include cotton and blends, performance polyester, breathable knits, wicking and antimicrobial-treated options and recycled content. Any antimicrobial, filtration or barrier property is supported by applicable test data; without it, products are labelled reusable fabric masks only.

Decoration

Masks support all-over and placement print, sublimation on white polyester, embroidery where construction allows, woven labels and custom packaging. Bold brand prints, seasonal patterns and corporate colour matching are all in range.

MOQ, sampling and lead time

Mask MOQ commonly starts around 300–500 pieces per design depending on construction and packaging; retail multi-packs and large uniform orders scale quickly. Samples confirm layer build, fit and print before bulk.

Compliance note

We do not label a fabric mask as medical, surgical, N95/FFP-grade or disease-preventing without the relevant certification. Marketing, packaging and listings are kept compliant with destination-market rules.

What to specify and approve

Define dimensions, layers, fabric, ear loops or ties, adjusters and decoration. Any filtration, medical or protective claims require appropriate evidence and must not be inferred from appearance.

Custom development options

Shape, binding, nose shaping and branding can be reviewed during sampling. The buyer is responsible for stating the intended market and applicable compliance requirements.
