Three wholly owned factories. One direct manufacturing relationship.

Dongguan and Suzhou (Anhui) in China, and Phnom Penh in Cambodia — all wholly owned and managed by Gazelle, with Hong Kong handling customer communication.

Your caps are made in factories we own

No subcontracting to an unnamed workshop down the road. When you place an order with Gazelle it is cut, stitched, decorated and finished on a site we own, staff we employ and a management team we can sit down with. Three sites, one owner, one quality system. That is the practical difference between a trading company managing suppliers and a manufacturer managing its own floors.

Ownership matters because it removes the two problems buyers feel most: capacity that cannot actually be promised, and standards that stop at the factory gate. We schedule against real production plans, move volume between our own sites, and apply the same inspection and documentation process in every building.

Dongguan, Guangdong — the cap specialists

Dongguan is our primary headwear site and where most structured and technical caps are built: six-panel baseball caps, snapbacks, trucker caps, dad hats and complex constructions. It carries the majority of our embroidery and multi-decoration programmes — 3D puff and flat embroidery, woven and leather patches, appliqué, sublimation and heat transfer — and it is where new constructions are developed first. Proximity to the Pearl River Delta supply base keeps lead times for trims, fabrics and sampling short.

Suzhou (Anhui) — the volume and knitwear site

Our Suzhou (Anhui) site handles knitwear, beanies, scarves, gloves and high-volume cap programmes, including simpler constructions at scale. When Dongguan is fully loaded, large runs flow to Suzhou (Anhui). That internal flexibility is the difference between a date quoted from a calendar and a date quoted from a production plan: we can balance load across capacity we control instead of hoping a subcontractor has room.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia — the second origin

The Phnom Penh site gives customers with destination-specific requirements, tariff considerations or a dual-sourcing policy a second country of origin. It runs to the same standards and the same quality process as the China sites; the origin changes, the specification does not. We confirm which site is producing a given order up front so the origin, audit documents and shipping route are never a surprise.

What ten million pieces a year actually buys you

Outputmore than 10 million pieces a year across three wholly owned sites
People800+ across production, quality control and support
Rangecaps and hats, bags, masks, aprons, beanies, scarves, gloves, knitwear and accessories
Decoration3D puff and flat embroidery, woven and leather patches, sublimation, screen printing and heat transfer
Samplesas fast as 3 days on standard builds with available materials
Speedsome orders ship within a week; complex builds take longer and are scheduled in writing

Scale matters only because it is attached to control. Ten million pieces across owned, audited sites means stable pricing on trims and fabric, repeatable workmanship on reorders, and enough capacity to absorb a rush without quietly handing the order to someone else.

Scheduling without the fiction

Because we own the sites, we move volume between them. Large or multi-construction orders are distributed by capability and current load, and you are told the production plan — site, quantities and timing — before it starts. If a date moves because of material, capacity or inspection, you hear it from us first with the reason and the revised plan, not after the vessel is missed.

Development and sampling

New constructions start in Dongguan with a tech pack and a physical sample, so fit, brim curve, crown profile and decoration are approved before any bulk is cut. Standard samples can be turned as fast as 3 days; custom materials and new tooling take longer and are scheduled honestly. The approved sample then travels as the standard to whichever owned site produces the bulk.

Audits on our own sites

Social audits, material certificates and product tests are run against our own facilities and confirmed per order and destination, including amfori BSCI, SEDEX SMETA, Better Work engagement, GRS and HIGG where the programme applies, and Disney FAMA / NBCUniversal workflows for licensed customers. Which documents apply depends on your destination and your customer's programme; we scope that with you at the enquiry stage and name the exact legal entity and site on the paperwork.

Talk to the people who make the caps

Hong Kong leads customer communication, and the people answering your technical questions are connected directly to the Dongguan, Suzhou (Anhui) and Phnom Penh floors. You can arrange a factory visit or a video walk-through of the relevant line, and for serious programmes we involve production and QC in the call rather than relaying questions through several intermediaries.
